ALT EGO enjoyed a memorable album launch with family, friends and industry role players at the One and Only Hotel at the V&A Waterfront on Thursday night.

To everyone who braved the cold and took some time out to celebrate with a career milestone with us – THANK YOU!

We are overwhelmed with appreciation and excitement after our first major album launch.

After months and months of planning, everything fell into place as our special night culminated with heart-warming moments and amazing memories that will last forever.

With ALT EGO being launched earlier this year and having gone on to make notable impact, we decided to celebrate the occasion during a night of leisure with our nearest and dearest.

After receiving arrival drinks and snacks, we had DJ Cosher – who’s been one of the masterminds behind ALT EGO’s production – on decks to bring energy to the room. He was on stage between and after formalities.

In between and after opening speeches and formalities took place, we were honoured to play some music from the ALT EGO album. It was great seeing such a positive reaction from our guests, especially those who broke it down on the dance floor! Yes, we saw you!

We also had cameos from Mathew Gold and Lakota Silva, who performed our collaborations “The Sound ” and “They Call Me Crazy” respectively. It’s been awesome working with great local talent – thank you for your efforts on our album.

The One and Only Hotel and their team, who have been influential clients and partners for more than a year, offered a world-class venue and service to our guests. Thank you to Patrick Fisher (Food & Beverage Director) and his team, Ashleigh, Kelly, Marcus, Robert, Clement, Celeste, as well as staff on the night.

Our very good friend, South African comedian Marc Lottering, added so much humour and colour to proceedings as MC. Considering his busy schedule, we were very fortunate to have him steer the event effectively and professionally.

A special, special thanks needs to go to our manager Lauren Parks, who played a leading role during preparations, behind the scenes and more! Things wouldn’t have gone so well without your tireless hard work.

And of course, thanks to our sponsors on the evening – The One and Only Hotel, InHouse (Sound and Lighting), Triple 3, Moreson Wines, Guardian Peak Wines, Sunglass Hut, C Squared and Carducci.

Look out for the event photos and video coming soon!
